How are you all?
Last week we watched a video that I hope you enjoyed. We were also practising the "preference verbs". Next week we will begin to work with the textbook. We have to practise the "adverbs of frequency". As a new grammar point, we will also see the "present continuous".
I hope you are enjoying the classes and learning as much as possible.

Remember what we have done!!!!!

Hello students! How are you? I hope you are doing your homework.
Let's see what we have done up to now.
 We have seen different "preference verbs" to express our likes and dislikes. Remember that when these verbs are in present they must be followed by a noun or a verb-ing. We must correct the sentences you had to translate.
I have also explained the "adverbs of frequency" and their location in the sentences.
We have done many oral activities in the class.
- Walk around the class looking for someone who....... (plays the piano, went to USA last year, speaks German....)
- You completed a crossword with the help of a partner, giving and asking different information.
- You have described objects, tools or machines, saying the shape, the materials they are made of, the colour, their size and what they are used for.
- You have completed a text, working in pairs, asking and answering questions.
Up to this time, we have reviewed the "present simple", trying to use as many verbs as possible, making activities to use them in affirmative, negative, and interrogative. I hope you have learnt it well, because we need to see other tenses like the "present continuous", "simple past" and "past continuous".
Next week, I would like to start to use the text book. Please try to bring it to the classroom. We are going to watch a video, thus you will be able to practise your listening in a more natural context.
 Remember you have to do the exercises about "time prepositions".
